Buttercream Spice Cake with Cranberries and Wheat

My friendly neighbour asked me to bake her brother’s wedding cake. The bride was quite the artist. The cake turned out DELICIOUS. Did I say delicious. I meant DELICIOUS!  Incredible. In fact, so good – here is the recipe:

2 cups cake flour

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ground allspice

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

1 1/2 cups packed golden brown sugar

4 large eggs, separated

1 cup sour cream

350. 9 round by 3. Sift dry. Cream. Yolks. Alternate flour and sour cream. Fold stiff whites. 45.

I doubled the recipe and got a 6.5 and full height 9 inch out of it.
